Frequently asked questions

Is my company required to register with the National Privacy Commission?

Yes, if your company processes personal data of 1,000 or more individuals, employs 250 or more persons, or processes sensitive personal information. Smaller processors may still be covered by other Data Privacy Act duties. We confirm your obligations and handle NPC registration.

Who is a covered person under the AMLA?

Covered persons include banks, insurance companies, securities dealers, real estate brokers, jewelry dealers, casinos, and lawyers and accountants in certain transactions. Each has specific KYC, record-keeping, and reporting duties, which we help design and document.

What happens if my company misses an SEC filing?

Missing a GIS or AFS deadline triggers escalating monetary penalties and can lead to suspension of your corporate registration. The longer the delay, the higher the exposure. We help clients catch up, settle penalties, and set a filing calendar to prevent recurrence.
